Yeah, so...still coughing. Seems I was overly optimistic the other night when I said I was feeling better. In between lying on my back, though, I have managed a little work. I'm better tonight, I think. Coughing less, though I was weak all day from coughing so much the past few days.

Another day lost to the cough. Aside from a trip to the pharmacy with Spooky, I spent most of it, and all of the night, on my back, because the less I move and the less I speak the less I cough. At least I did sleep well last night. I seem to be a little better tonight.

This morning, I woke from the sort of dream that's a nightmare, even though you get one of your fondest fucking dreams. Waking up makes of it a nightmare. And that's how the day began for me, right about 7 a.m. I might have slept five hours, despite the pills I take to help me sleep.
